My Philosophy
I believe marketing should be judged on one thing: the results it actually delivers, not vanity metrics that make a report look busy.
I built Molyneux Marketing on a simple idea: every strategy starts with the commercial outcome a business actually needs, and works backwards from there. The channel and tactics change from client to client. The discipline of tying everything back to real results never does.
Good marketing isn’t something that happens to a business from the outside, either. It’s built alongside the people who know it best – founders, directors, business owners, which is why I work as an extension of that team, not a separate agency at arm’s length.
In practice, that means:
- Starting with the business, not the channel. Understanding the commercial goal and the customer before recommending a single tactic.
- Speaking to stakeholders in outcomes, not jargon. What’s working, what isn’t, and what it means for the business, in plain terms.
- Being a long-term partner, not a rotating supplier. An approach that’s grown my client base to 30+ retained businesses, almost entirely through referral.
- Owning the results, not just the activity. Taking responsibility for performance, not just for showing up.
