For a local restaurant, visibility is everything. People can’t book a table they’ve never heard of. For one Italian restaurant brand, I built a TikTok campaign around their bottomless brunch offer that delivered 60k views, putting the venue in front of a far bigger local audience than their existing channels could reach.
The Brief: TikTok Marketing for Restaurants Starts With the Offer
Bottomless brunch is one of the most competitive offers in hospitality. Every venue in town has one, so the question was never “do we have an offer?” It was “why would someone choose this one?”
Before filming anything, I got clear on what made the brand different: the food, the atmosphere, and the experience of the room. The goal was simple. Make people see the brunch before they ever read the menu.
Choosing the Audience for TikTok Marketing for Restaurants
Who the Bottomless Brunch Was For
Bottomless brunch is a group occasion. It’s birthdays, friend catch-ups, and weekend plans, so I built the content around the people making those decisions: locals looking for their next brunch booking, and the friend who organises the group.
Why TikTok Was the Right Platform
TikTok is where people increasingly discover where to eat. Instead of waiting for someone to search for “brunch near me”, the content could show up in the feed of someone who didn’t yet know they wanted it.
Building the Content
The Hook: TikTok Marketing for Restaurants Lives or Dies in Two Seconds
Every video opened with a visual that made people stop scrolling. In food, the product does the talking, so the first frame had to look as good as the brunch tasted.
Showing the Offer, Not Telling It
Rather than a sales pitch, the content showed the experience: the food arriving, the drinks flowing and the energy of the table. Viewers could picture themselves there, which is what turns a view into a booking.
Launch, Learn, Refine
I posted, watched which videos held attention, and made more of what worked. That feedback loop is what moved the account from a few hundred views to a post that reached 60k.
The Result: 60k Views
A substantial TikTok audience for a local Italian restaurant, built around a single, clear offer. For a venue that relies on local footfall, that kind of reach means thousands of potential diners seeing the brunch who might never have found it otherwise.
Why It Matters
Views alone don’t fill tables, but they’re where every booking starts. The right offer, shown the right way, to the right local audience, can turn a restaurant’s TikTok from an afterthought into a genuine source of new customers.
